Jorhat Unit

MSSV JORHAT Unit was established in 11^th October,  2022 through the MSSV Act is amended and consented by the Governor of Assam vide No. LGL.59/2013/40 dated 24th January, 2022 allowing establishment of 5 constituent units of the University in Guwahati, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Dhubri and Goalpara.

The Unit began with the establishment of the Departments of Performing Arts and Department of Yogic Science & Naturopathy. From the academic session 2024-25, the Departments of Yogic Science & Naturopathy had been discontinued in the Jorhat Unit.
